After having fun in playing MOBA in mobile device such as in MOBA Legends and Mobile Legends, we decided to expand our list for a new multiplayer online battle arena game with Heroes Evolved. Unlike with the said two games, HE can be played in PC with stable graphics and features. The game published by R2 Games which is known from their League of Angels. To compare this game with other simple MOBA, Heroes Evolved has lots of heroes/characters and items to play on. But first you need to unlock and this is by either playing the game or spending money on it. If you want to stay casual, you can just play the game using a free hero rotation.

Just like how we play and dominated other MOBA from DotA to League of Legends, we are here to share to you strategy guides for Heroes Evolved:

1. Focus on mastering hero. Please don’t get me wrong when I say focus, it is not about not to play all available heroes at all but to spend most of the time on the hero you like the playstyle and works the mechanics on you. You don’t need to master all heroes at once even in ESport most players there are using same hero in the league based on the current meta as well as team composition. This is a must especially if you are playing in ladderboard/rank wherein you need to use your best pick. In mastering a hero this will benefits you a lot from mechanics, prediction, creep score, build, team synergy and counterpicking. Just practice same hero in several matches until you are comfortable on using it against different opponent.

2. Practice perfect Creep Score (CS). This is a must in playing MOBA as this is very important in game. You need not to miss any last hit. There are tricks in getting the most CS in MOBA and this is by mastering your hero as what we mentioned above, countering your opponent,  and build familiarity.

For mastering your hero, this will gives you idea how damage you can go based on the level as well as the item you are using. Just play on several or even hundred of matches using one hero so you can master last hitting creeps. Now for countering your opponent, you need to get much experience in several match up so you know the CS capability of your opponent. This will help you when to do CS or when to kite/attack them. And for the build, you need to experiment on the build that works best on you. Now play on the same build on different matches as you need to understand the damage of each build you progress. Keep in mind that different items leads to different damage which gives you a different experience in doing CS.

3. Do not extend too much from your tower. This is a common mistake for players who believes that they dominated the lane. Although there is circumstances that you can do extend but in general it will be better if you remain humble in the lane with your tower. The longer extension you do the better the chance for enemy to gank you. As a main jungler this is enough reason to take advantage and gank the laner who extend too much from their tower.

Now for tricks on not getting extended too much, you must not hit creeps unless this s a last hit for CS. But this is not hitting anything at all as you need to put difference on their life as you don’t want to let them slain at the same time. You need to provide time for you to kill them one by one with no miss.

4. Stick with your role. In most MOBA include Heroes Evolved there are 5 roles that players need to stick such as Carry, Jungler, Burst, Support, Tank. If you play as carry, you need to act as a carry. This is the most rewarding role in game but also the most difficult as everyone in the team is looking for you. You need to do the best damage in game as you are the arsenal of the team. Together with carry is the support that is going to aid you throughout the game. Support must pick hero that is not item dependent but with good utility. If you are support, you need to focus on your carry. Fill your carry and protect it against threat. Now for the jungler which is my main role as I found it very interesting, you must have map control, good jungler knows where the enemy jungler location. You must know the cooldown of every neutral creeps and buffs. Jungler must pick hero that is good in CC as you need it to gank the enemy. For the tank, you are the initiator of the team,  you must be good in decision making. As a good tank, you must have a control when or not to clash. There are lots to think about in this decision making and ironically you need to decide faster as enemy team can decide to either they are going to attack you or not. And for the burst, this is the hero that relies on instant damage that can eliminate opponent either tank or carry. Just like carry they come squishy so they need protection too. Good burst carry can be consider in positioning and target. You need to do instant damage against several target. You need a good positioning to do this as well as decision making on waiting for the right moment to use your burst skill.

Now with the idea of each role, I guess you will perform your task on the designated role you are playing so you will get the most from your champion. All roles are important, it is how you play your game that matters. The same in mastering your hero, I advice to master role too so everything will come easy from decision making, kiting, positioning, ganking and so on. This will bring the teamwork from you as it is difficult for each member of the team to perform their role which will result for teamwork.

5. There is no perfect build or team in all circumstances. I said you need to master hero but this is not only about one hero as well as build. Mastering a hero will diversify everything including how you build it and the fact in playing MOBA, there is no perfect build or team that works in all circumstances. You should play based on your team composition, playstyle and how your opponent act on it. If you see that your team consist of squishy hero, you need to work with tank items and vice versa. Now for team composition I recommend this set up: Tank, Crowd Control, DPS and Burst. You need to diversify your team with that 4 aspects. You shouldn’t focus on crowd control that will suffer your damage output. Too much damage is also not good in clash where there is no filler for carry or tank to initiate a fight. Mastering is about adapting different circumstances in game using all factors based on what hero you are playing and the enemy team you are against with.

That’s all for general strategy guide of playing Heroes Evolved. Don’t forget to bookmark or share our tricks and tips as we are going to post most about this game. We are planning to gives you guide for every champion build and mechanics. Stay tune!

Heroes Evolved Tip #3: Sir Cease Hero Guide.

Sir Cease, a melee Hero with a very strong set of abilities and a very versatile play style.

Pros
Why play Sir Cease? it's simple ,there're tons of elements you should take in to account when considering to play Sir Cease.
He is strong through out the different phases of a match.
He is incredibly hard to lane against early on as he can spam Deathfire to control the lane and follow up with blade charge.
- He provides massive amounts of disable
- A lot of fun to play
- Can provide devastating ganks
- Resembles Guts from Berserk!

Cons
However Sir Cease is not for everyone, some cons that may push you away from ever picking him as your Hero may be his play style and high skill cap requirements.
He is very susceptible to range and disables, minions and crowded situations may cause you difficulties landing Blade Charge.
- missing his "blade charge" can be devastating
- mark reliance
- no secure escape.
I’ve been using Nosferatu for quite some time right now. What I can say is he rocks in battle and can do a lot of damage with the right strategy and item. He’s biggest advantage is his life stealing skills and a long range hero.

TLDR

You can use the TLDR Item build for quick reference. Take note that this is just my personal preference and so far it doesn’t fail me. Nosferatu is a pain in the butt enemy using this items. Combination of health, slow and Spell power increases make this build the best so far from my opinion. You can try this out and see for yourself.

Let’s discuss Noferatu’s Skills first:

Blood Storm Passive Buff

Each enemy unit kill grants 10 max Health, while Blood Sucker can heal over max Health capacity. The excess Health shifts into a shield that absorbs damage for 10 seconds, with a maximum of 300 Health to absorb damage.

Bonus Max Health: 100/200/300/400

Bloody Sacrifice MAGIC ULTIMATE

Nosferatu takes revenge with deadly blood, dealing instant magic damage and continuous damage to nearby enemy units for 5 seconds, while Nosferatu heals 50% damage dealt by this ability as Health immgediately. Non-hero units have half healing effects.

Primary Damage: 250/350/450
Damage Per Second: 40/50/60
Radius: 800
Mana Cost: 150/200/250
Cooldown: 45 seconds

Blood Sucker MAGIC

Deals Magical damage to a target enemy unit, while recovering 50% damage the ability deals as Health, to a maximum of 300 Health.

Damage: 180/220/260/300
Cast Range: 800
Mana Cost: 75
Cooldown: 7/6/5/4 seconds

River of Blood MAGIC BUFF DISABLE

Summons a river of blood in a target direction for 6 seconds, dealing magical damage over time to enemy units in the river while granting bonus Health Regen and movement speed to Nosferatu. The effect lass for 1 second after Nosferatu leaves the river.

Damage per second: 100/120/140/160
Health Regen: 5/10/15/20
Movement slow: 25%
Bonus Movement Speed: 25%
Range: 1200
Mana Cost: 150
Cooldown: 13/12/11/10 seconds

Recommended Item:
Vitality Boots
Attribute – Dash II: +80 Movement Speed.
Nothing usual about the additional speed since most boots have the same additional movement speed. The additional health though will be your edge in your enemies.

Crystal Scepter
This will add additional health of 300 and will slow your enemies everytime you cast abilities while using this Scepter. Single Spells slow 40% movement speed for 1.5 seconds, while AOE Spells for 1 second. Continuous or multi-step Spells slow 20% movement speed for 1 second. This is perfect for chasing enemies. While chasing, you can combo this with River of Blood for stack effect on movement speed.

Heroes Arena Tip #:1 Pillage.

A currency only acquirable from pillage.
You can purchase various items in the fame shop.
1. In Pillage, you can collect the currency produced in the Vault.
2. You can invade other players Defense Tower and pillage their vault.
3. Even in the case of failure, you will still receive bonus currency, based on how far you have gone up.
4. You can improve your Defense Tower and place Defense Troops in order to protect your Vault from enemy invasions.

If there are Gold and Fame marks on the vault, you can collect Gold and Fame from it.
If there's only a Gold mark, you can only collect Gold.
The same goes for fame.

When the Defense Tower is displayed as In Battle, it means that another Expeditions is invading it.

Heroes Arena Tip #:2 Vault.

You need Gold to upgrade the level of your Vault. If you want to upgrade beyond a certain level, you may need to extend your defense.
Increase Gold and Fame production: If you level it up, the amount of Gold and Fame production per Hour will be increased.
Extend Gold, Fame Storage: If you level it up the maximum amount of Gold and Fame storage will be increased.
Hire Gold and Fame Manager: Once hired, the manager will keep your Gold and Fame safe from enemy invasion.
Even if your Gold and Fame are full, the protected amount will not be pillaged.

Heroes Arena Tip #:3 All Defense Tower.

You can extend your Defense Tower in "My Defense Tower".
You can use the extension requirements and rewards.
You need to complete certain parts of your exploration in order to extend your defense tower.
The more you expand your defense tower, the more fame you can collect from it.
You can extend you Defense Tower with Gold.
You can easily organize and deploy your Defense Tower troops via "Easy Deploy".
Defense Troops can be deployed according to a certain criteria and all the floors attributes can be identical.

Heroes Arena Tip #:4 Defense Tower Floor.

Guardian Stone: The color changes according to the Guardian Stone's attribute.
Once the Guardian Stone's level increases, you will be able to deploy more Defense Troops.
Your deploy-able defense troops count increases by 1 on level 3, 6, and 9.

There are 3 types of Defense Troops and their HP and ATK increases through level up.
A Defense weapon will be deployed on each floor.
The defense weapon deals AoE attacks toward the invading heroes.
Defense weapons are immobile, and will be placed as a stationary unit next to the guardian stone.
Defense Weapon's HP and ATK can be increased through level up.

You may deploy your character to the floor you want.
Move to the floor and deploy one. The character will become a boss who guards the guardian stone on that floor.
The higher the Guardian stone level, Defense Troops level, Defense Weapon level and the boss level the higher the chance to defend against pillage.
The MOBA genre has already exploded on PC, so now it’s mobile’s turn! Heroes Arena is another entry into the expanding MOBA genre for mobile platforms. Choose from a cast of colorful and astonishing heroes, each with their own unique abilities and skills. Form teams of five and go up against players from all around the world. Matches in Heroes Arena are designed to be quick so they stay true to the mobile framework.

Don’t be fooled though – Heroes Arena is just as in-depth as any other MOBA game, so here’s our Heroes Arena cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

1. Build a balanced comp!

Team composition – or comp for short – in one of the most important pre-game things you’ll need to take care of. During hero selection, take a look at the types of heroes your teammates are picking and try not to double up on the same kind of hero. If you have a bunch of assassins, you’ll have no beefy tanks to initiate for your team! Likewise, the inverse situation will have very low damage output. The point is that each player should take one of the roles. Remember that there are six roles: tank, warrior, assassin, mage, marksman, and support.

2. Set up your runes for your favorite heroes!

If you’ve played the ever popular MOBA League of Legends, you’ll know exactly what to expect when it comes to the runes. Runes are little orbs that will provide your hero with passive bonuses during battles. At first you’ll only have one slot unlocked, but you’ll gain more as you level up. Once you have access to a good number of slots, runes can really give you that extra power you’ll need to win a fight.

There are three different types of runes: pact, oath, and chant. Runes will offer things like bonus attack damage, cooldown reduction, armor penetration, magic resist, and so forth. There’s a rune for just about every stat in the game.

Now, early on you’re just going to want to equip any kind of runes you get, but later on you can further optimize your favorite heroes by using specific runes. For example, if you love playing as assassin heroes, you’ll probably want a lot of attack damage runes. To make things easier, you can save sets of runes and even name them for easy access. You can find more runes inside chests.

3. Know when to jungle!

You may have noticed the wild forest zones in between the lanes. These areas are known as the “jungle,” and you’ll find monsters native to the land here. The small camps of monsters will yield a moderate amount of gold when defeated, so it’s good to jungle if need some extra gold.

Certain types of heroes are more suited for taking on the wild monsters like melee assassins and tanks. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the jungle, be sure to take the Attack Ability “Smite” with you. Smite deals a flat 600 damage to monsters, one-shotting most of the smaller monsters.

Half way through a match, boss monsters will spawn alongside the river that cuts down the middle of the map. They’ll be marked on the minimap with special monster icons. These boss monsters usually require your whole team to take down, but if you manage to do so your whole team will benefit from a buff that boosts your stats.

Taking down the boss and getting the buff is a major boon and will almost guarantee your team winning any kind of skirmish against the other team. You’ll need to be able to coordinate with your team though, so make sure to use pings!

After a couple of matches you’ll notice that one of your teammates will be a dedicated “jungler”. This means that they’ll spend most of the match roaming jungle killing monsters and collecting gold.

A steady flow of experience and gold will mean that hero will be exceptionally more powerful than the rest of the time, and you’ll use them to win fights. They will also be able to help you set up ambushes because of the jungle’s many exits. If an enemy hero is pushing you back too far, ask for the help of your jungler to come get the jump on them!

4. Last hit!

When you’re around enemy minions when they die, you’ll automatically receive experience points. You will also receive a little bit of gold. However – if you can manage to land the killing blow on a minion, you’ll receive bonus gold. This is known as “last hitting”.

Try to master this technique because a bigger gold income will mean you getting the better items ahead of your enemies. The timing is tricky because you’ll need to gauge how much auto attack damage your hero does at the moment, but once you get it down it’s a great help.

That’s all for Heroes Arena for now. We’ll be back soon with another guide! Until then, if you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
Heroes Arena : Lucent Skill & Item Build, Guide, and Counter

Review

Lucent is easy to use especially if you already played other MOBA. She is not really unique as most skills are taken from League of Legend’s Ashe. Her passive will gives you advantage in kiting or hit-and-run mechanics. She also has slow for engage and disengage. And her ultimate that you can use in initiating a fight. This is a well balanced hero in game for those who are learning playing marksman in game. Lucent will teach you a lot from kiting, when to engage as well as taking down tower using her kit.

Pros
+Good CC
+Good buffs
+Good ultimate
+Easy mechanics

Cons
-Not so hard hitter compare to other carry
-No escape
-Mana reliant

Skill Build

Hit and Run – Every basic attack grants Lucent an 8% movement speed boost for 3 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. This what makes you a good lane bully. Like what I’ve said, Lucent is a good way to practice hit-and-run mechanics because of her advantage in movement speed.

Salvo – The next 5 basic attacks within 8 seconds all shoot three arrows. Each arrow deals additional 60 physical damage. This is the only skill that works with your basic attack. A downside of playing Lucent is she doesn’t have much skills that improves her basic attack which is very important for marksman. Max this skill so it will improve your basic attack in trades.

Arrow Rain – Lucent fires nine arrows toward the intended location, dealing 192 physical damage to the enemy first hit and slowing them by 40% for 2 seconds. Consistent hits on one target will reduce the later damage by 70%. Good crowd control that adds up your threat in kiting enemy hero.

Concentration – Lucent increases movement speed by 8% for 5 seconds for ally heroes within range. higher level of Hit and Run brings additional effect. Good team buffs for either engage or disengage. Upon using this skill perfectly, not only but the entire team can harass an outnumbered opponent.

Broken Star – Lucent shoots a giant magic arrow toward the target location, stunning the first enemy hero along the path for 2 seconds and dealing 550 physical damage. The range and disable your ultimate is your best weapon in teamfight. You can use this skill in many ways but the most effective is setting up a clash. Use this wisely and you will win more teamfight in game.

Item Build

Red Moon – +67 Physical Attack / +10 Lifesteal / +30 Attack Speed / Effect : Adds physical damage (equal to 4% of target’s current health) less than 150 to basic attack. Good damaging from physical attack and attack speed. Also it has lifesteal for more sustain in laning. In this build we will make damage out of basic attack. In harassing an opposing laner, you need lifesteal for sustain. I get it over Bloody Mary because it has +30% attack speed which is good most AD carry.

Gabriel – +224 Physical Attack / Effect: Increases damage by 30% when targets’ health is lower than 50%. This will gives you a power spike from early game. Most players are building their movement speed at this time. Well Lucent has enough movement speed so instead of working on it we will invest for more damage. Speaking of damage Gabriel is OP on maximizing physical attack.

Hunter Boots – +15 Attack Speed / +60 movement speed. Just a basic item for you to improve your movement speed. It has also an additional attack speed for more damage from basic attacks. With two offensive item we have, we can farm more gold easily. That will give us an easy Hunter boots for our their set.

Berserk Edge – +112 Physical Attack / +20 Critical Rate / Effect : Increases Crit-hit damage by 50%. Another way to boost damage with critical attack. Before buying this item, make sure you will buy item that improve crit rate as 20% is not enough to make it work on its full potential.

Fanatic – +10 Critical Rate / +40 Attack Speed Bonus / +5 Speed Bonus / Effect : Attack speed increases by 5% after Crit-hit, lasting 4 seconds and stacking up to 5 times. This is the item I’m telling you so it will improve your critical chance. I get it over Raged Thunder because as the moment I had this set, I don’t do hit-and-run anymore but just simply standing in trades knowing that I can kill anyone one by one.

*Situational

Edged Stone – +179 Physical Attack / +15 Crit Damage / +10 CD Reduce / Effect 1: Increases physical penetration by 120. Effect 2 : Increase physical penetration by 40%. Buy this item if you are against with team having several tank.

Sharp Spear – +134 Physical Attack / +30 Attack Speed Bonus / Effect : Immune to damage every 8 seconds. Get Sharp Spear if you are against in team with several AD heroes.

Strategy Guide

Laning – Hit-and-run that is her mechanics all about until you get the second item from our perfect build. Once you already have the Gabriel in your inventory that is the time that you can stand in trade. For sure you will get the first since you will buy it as your second set instead of boots. From the early power spike that is how I dominate the opposing laner hardly. You have to option to engage, first is using your ultimate or you can save it until he makes a trade to you. You can initiate with your ultimate if you have a big advantage in gear and they are obviously avoiding you. Lucent’s ultimate is a perfect weapon for this scenario.

Teamfight – It is all about your ultimate. A good initiator in clash so you can have 1 minus in teamfight. What I also like in Lucent is her 3rd skill the boost movement speed of your allies. This will gives you a good position in teamfight especially if the opposing team is outnumbered, you will have a very big advantage over them. So don’t hesitate to throw that ultimate especially it has a very good range. If you see that your enemy is retreating it is a sign that you have the advantage over them. Using your ultimate, they will get no option to retreat but to fight your team. The is how Lucent excel from other marksman.

Now to mentioned his basic attack capability as a hitter. I said that she has a downside from it compare to other marksman. But I believe using the perfect build we shared above, especially from the time you get the Gabriel, you can rely on your auto attack too in dealing damage. As a carry you need to have a good position where you can free hit most of your target. Using your ultimate you can have 2 seconds to have a good position that will allow you to hit them hardly without giving them a chance to fight back.

How to counter Lucent

Like what I’ve said above, Lucent is not good hitter as other marksman in game. She excel in harassing, kiting and cheap shot but once you go for all in, she is nothing. And the hero that is good for all-in trades is Wild Card. He got everything in his hand to outdamage based with his basic attack. He got stun, slow, attack speed buffs, and passive. He is a perfect counter against Lucent. Considering other heroes that have different role, you can use Iceblade to counter Lucent as he can counter all marksman in game especially if there is no one to support the carry.

You can consider different counter against Lucent especially burst damage based hero. But most of the time it will be a marksman vs marksman in laning so use Wild Card if you really want to counter her badly.

Summary

Along with Warrior of Light, Lucent is a basic hero where you can use to know the mechanics of marksman in Heroes Arena. She has a good kit that help you improves your kiting (hit-and-run) setting up (ultimate) and trading (1st skill) She is a rounder with a good potential in teamfight. Using our skill and item guide we shared above you can have a best build for Lucent. In this way you can improve her basic attack damage and threat against enemy team.

As what I said, Lucent is a basic hero and this is a good jumpstart to learn more in playing Marksman role. If you enjoy this hero as I am, you will surely like trying more advanced marksman such as Wild Card and Celestial Warden. And the best of it, you will learn how to initiate a teamfight with the coordination of your allies. Knowing it is very essential in playing MOBA. I really hope Lucent will teach you not only about being a good carry but as good player of Heroes Arena.
Sword of Shadows is an enchanting MMO action game based around martial arts. The ancient world of Jianhgu is threatened by the arrival of dark forces, and now it’s up to you to take up arms. Create a character and choose from five different schools of martial arts, each with their own set of abilities and attacks. Sword of Shadows is also a visually stunning game as it’s running on a new engine from Snail Games. But enough talk – let’s get started with our Sword of Shadows cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide!

Sword of Shadows is a pretty expansive game so there’s a lot to cover here, but since a lot of the game is automated will keep it to the important parts, so here’s our Sword of Shadows tips and tricks guide.

1. Keep completing the quests!

Sword of Shadows is a game that you set aside and do your own thing, because of a lot of the game play is automated. For a good majority of the game you’re going to be running back and forth between quest givers, and thankfully it’s really easy to do. Just tap on the quest window at the left side of the screen and your character will automatically run towards quest givers and objectives. The only time you actually need to tap on the screen is to advance through dialogue, but after that your character will resume automatic travel.

2. Use your defense and break skills!

Combat in Sword of Shadows is pretty straight forward. Use your overt skills when they’re off cooldown and use your basic combo attack inbetween. Simple stuff, right? It gets a little trickier later on. Once you’ve completed a certain quest, you’ll start unlocking additional moves for your character. Two important moves are your defense and break skills. Your defense skill puts your character into a defensive stance with a blue shield over their head.

If you’re struck during this, you will automatically counter attack! What’s even better is that you can use this against enemy overt skills (the skills with the red targeting zones). Your second important skill is your break skill. If you notice that your enemy is trying to do what you do and defend against your attacks, use your break skill. If it successfully connects, a break skill will shatter an enemy’s guard leaving them vulnerable to counter attack. When this happens the blue shield above their head breaks in half and turns yellow. That’s your chance!

3. Strengthen your character!

By just doing the main quest line, you should have enough silver and materials to power up your character is a variety of ways. It’s not complicated to power up, you just need to make sure you’re keeping up with it.

  •     Forging lets you increase the stats on your individual gear pieces. You’ll need forging stones to do this but you’ll end up with a ton of them from the quest rewards. You can only forge up to your character’s maximum level, so make sure to reforge every time you level up.
  •     Martial Arts are your combat skills. To improve them, you’ll need to “cultivate” them. To cultivate, you need silver and appropriately cultivation points. Like forging stones, you’ll have a bunch of these so always make sure you have cultivation queued up. When you cultivate a skill, it doesn’t improve right away; you need to wait a certain amount of time.
  •     Internal Skill grant you passive stat boosts. Depending on the school you pick, you’ll get a different set of boosts. Internal skills work just like martial arts, so make sure you always have your current school cultivating.

As a side note, there’s a tiny blue and red button above your character status bars at the top left corner of the screen. Tapping this will show you your queues for martial arts and internal skills, making it really easy to add more things into the queue.

4. Donate to the school!

Be sure to donate to your school every day. You can do it once per day, and doing so increases your renown with the school. When you’ve acquired enough renown, you’ll move up in school rank. These ranks function just like Internal Skills, as they grant your passive stat boosts. Be sure not to miss a day!

5. Grab all the goodies!

These MMO-style games usually have a bunch of freebies for you, and Sword of Shadows in no exception. There are a lot of goodies for you to grab. Keep an eye on the top right corner of the screen – you’ll see a bunch of event buttons. If a red exclamation mark is next to a button, that means there’s something waiting for you to claim. You can get stuff from the Novice Gift (7 day log-in), the Bonuses (check-in, level reward, online pack), and the Event (daily login, daily online). Get them all!

That’s all for Sword of Shadows. Keep completing the quests, and you’re on your way to victory! If you have any other tips or tricks to share, let us know in the comments below!
